【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheprocedureforthedeterminationofacid-solublemanganesebyflameatomicabsorptionspectrometryorbyplasmaemissionspectroscopy.Itisapplicabletoallkindsofpaper,boardandpulps.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodtodeterminemanganeseintheacid-solublepartoftheignitionresidue,i.e.thatpartoftheignitionresidueremainingafterignitionwhichissolubleinhydrochloricacid.Inthecasewheretheresidueiscompletelysoluble,theresultobtainedbytheprocedurespecifiedinthisInternationalStandardisameasureofthetotalamountofmanganeseinthesample.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesameansforobtainingastandardroughnessindexusinggenericequipment.Thisparticulartestmethodissimplebutlabor-intensive,andismostappropriateforestablishingreferenceroughnesslevelsforalimitednumberoftestsites.Testsiteswhoseroughnessismeasuredwiththistestmethodcanbeusedtocalibrateresponse-typemeasuringsystems(seeTestMethodE1082).Suchsitescanalsobeusedtoverifyproperoperationofotherprofilemeasuringsystems,andtoestablishaccuracylevelsforotherprofilemeasuringsystems(seeTestMethodE950).1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofalongitudinalprofileofatravelledsurfaceusingastaticlevelforthepurposeofobtainingaroadroughnessindex.Thistestmethodissuitableforallsurfacetypesthataretravelledbyconventionalgroundvehicles,includingpavedandunpavedroads.1.2Thistestmethodislabor-intensivewithrespecttoothermeansformeasuringlongitudinalprofile,andisusedmainlyfor(1)validatingotherprofile-measuringmethodsand(2)calibratingresponse-typeroughness-measuringsystems.Note18212;Whenmeasuringroadroughnesswithastaticlevelforthepurposesofvalidatingotherprofile-measuringmethodsorcalibratingresponse-typeroughness-measuringsystems,thestaticlevelmeasurementprocessshouldbeevaluatedtoensurethemeasurementsarewithintheresolutionrequiredin.Itisrecommendedthatseverallocationsbemarkedatvariousdistancesfromthelevelandtheselocationsbemeasuredinsequenceseveraltimestoestablishifthereadingsstaywithintheresolutionrequired.Wind,distancebetweentherodandthelevel,surfacetexture,andpositioningoftherodallhavesignificantimpactontherepeatabilityoftheelevationmeasurements.Anyvariationfromthetrueelevationswillprimarilyaffectthebiasasexplainedin.Todeterminetheeffectofrandomvariations,randomvariationscanbeaddedtoanexistingprofileandtheIRIrecalculatedtodeterminetheimpactofthevariations.1.3Thistestmethoddescribesthecomputationrequiredforoneparticulartypeofroughnessindex,thevehiclesimulationusedintheInternationalRoughnessIndex(IRI).Additionally,theprofileobtainedwiththistestmethodcanbeprocessedtoobtainotherroughnessmeasures.1.4Thistestmethodincludestwolevelsofaccuracythatcanbechosenaccordingtoneed.Themoreaccurate,designatedasClass1,reducesthemeasurementerroroftheroughnessindextolessthan2%ofthetruevalueoftheindex.Thesecond,designatedasClass2,involveserrorslessthan5%.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
