【摘要】:Thisspecificationestablishesrequirementsforpolypropylene(PP)pipingsystemcomponentsmadetometricsizesandIPSschedule80sizes,andpressureratedforwaterserviceanddistributionsupply(seeAppendixX1).Includedarecriteriaformaterials,workmanship,dimensionsandtolerances,producttests,andmarkingforpolypropylene(PP)pipingsystemcomponentssuchaspipe,fittings,valves,andmanifolds.Thecomponentsgovernedbythisspecificationshallbepermittedforuseinwaterservicelines,hot-and-coldwaterdistribution,hydronicheating,andirrigationsystems.Thepipeandfittingsproducedunderthisspecificationshallbepermittedtobeusedtotransportindustrialprocessfluids,effluents,slurries,municipalsewage,etc.Theusershallconsultthemanufacturertodeterminewhetherthematerialbeingtransportediscompatiblewiththepolypropylenepipingsystemandwillnotaffecttheservicelifebeyondlimitsacceptabletotheuser.UnitsThevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
