【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationhasbeenpublishedinresponsetothespecialcircumstanceofregulatoryrequirementsregardingfederalprocurementguidelinesforplasticpipehavingrecycledcontent.1.2ThisspecificationcoverscoextrudedPoly(VinylChloride)(PVC)plasticpipewithacenterlayerandconcentricinnerandoutersolidlayers.Thepipeisproducedusingamulti-layercoextrusiondie.TheinnerandouterlayersaremadeofvirginPVCcompoundandthecenterlayerhasreprocessed-recycledPVCcontent.Thepipeisfornon-pressureuseinthreeseries:1.2.1Sewer-Drainserieswithasewer-pipeoutsidediameterandapipestiffnessof46psi(320kPa),1.2.2IPSSchedule40series,and1.2.3IPSPipeStiffness(PS)serieswithpipestiffnessesof100psi(690kPa)and120psi(830kPa).1.3Pipethatisoutside-diametercontrolleddoesnotnecessarilyhaveaninsidediametersuitableforuseasafittingsocket.1.4Allseriesmaybeperforated.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIvaluesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
